Get Cornering advanced motorcycle training is available to any rider with a full category A or A2 licence. All
bikers, at any level of skill can participate – the course and the days can be adapted to suit individual needs and
experience levels. If you have lots of experience, we will match you to riders of a similar level. If you are
inexperienced, we will ensure that your day will take place with riders of a similar level. The courses are run on
great biking roads in the UK.
But I heard road safety is boring!
Yes, it can be in some instances but not with us. Advanced motorcycle training with Get Cornering will always
consider personal safety however, we look at safety in a realistic and friendly way.
What do I need to bring with me?
We want you to relax and enjoy the day so wear the motorcycle gear that you would normally wear when riding out on
your own or with friends. Bring your own bike, your motorcycle licence, glasses or contact lenses if you need them to
make you legal to ride, some water to drink and about £15 to buy a light lunch / snacks for the day.
You and your bike must be road legal, current insurance tax and MOT. Do check the tread depth of your tyres.
Occasionally riders have attended with a little less than the legal limit – you will not be able to join in on the day
if this is the case and you will forfeit your money – sorry. If you have new tyres, the day is a good time to get them
scrubbed in! For clarity: the legal tread depth is a minimum of 1mm around the whole circumference of the tyre and
must be across the central three quarters. Hope that helps!
